Banana Pumpkin Muffins

Ingredients

FOR THE MUFFINS – white whole wheat flour – ground cinnamon – pumpkin pie spice – baking powder – baking soda – salt – mashed banana – pure maple syrup – pumpkin puree – low-fat milk (or any milk of choice) – eggs – pure vanilla extract Optional cinnamon sugar topping: – granulated sugar – ground cinnamon

1. Whisk flour, spices, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside. 2. In a separate bowl, mash bananas. 3. Add maple syrup, pumpkin, milk, eggs, and vanilla. Stir to combine. 4. Slowly pour dry ingredients into wet ingredients. 5. Stir until just combined. 6. Scoop batter into prepared tin. 7. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, if using. 8. Bake 20-22 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean. 9. Cool on a wire rack and enjoy!
