Banana bread never gets old and this easy banana b Banana bread never gets old and this easy banana bread recipe is just that - simple to make and so so delicious! Plus it’s lower in fat and added sugar than traditional banana bread 🤓

This is a recipe I love to meal prep. Since bananas turn brown so fast, I’ll whip some up whenever we have bananas that need to be used. Then I’ll slice the loaf and freeze as individual slices! That way I can easily thaw a slice or two to have as part of my breakfast for the week. I love pairing this banana bread with a smear of almond or peanut butter and some low-fat Greek yogurt 😋

I have been using this in all of my drinks from cocktails to tea to coffee. The combination of honey + lavender results in a super floral syrup that makes a delicious drink 🤩 plus I use half honey/half stevia to lower the sugar content!

Happy national milk chocolate day! These frozen ch Happy national milk chocolate day! These frozen chocolate banana sandwiches are a great to celebrate (& because it’s actually 100 degrees in NC). Plus they only call for 3 ingredients: bananas, peanut butter, & chocolate!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
DIRECTIONS:
1. Slice bananas & place on a baking sheet.
2. Top with ~1 teaspoon of natural PB (or any nut/seed butter) & place another banana slice on top. 
3. Place in freezer.
4. Microwave your favorite chocolate until melted (be careful not to burn the chocolate ➡️ I usually start with 30-60 seconds, stir, & then heat in 10-15 second increments until melted, stirring between each).
5. Remove sandwiches from freezer & drizzle melted chocolate on top.
6. Freeze for 30 min or until frozen.
7. Enjoy! 😋🍌🥜🍫

1️⃣ CARBOHYDRATES - these are easy for our body to convert into energy & thus are a great fuel source

2️⃣ PROTEIN - made up of amino acids, protein is the building block for pretty much every tissue in our body from muscle, to cells, to hormones & more!

3️⃣ FAT - fat is a great energy source & required for some vitamin + mineral absorption & storage
