No bake brownie bites are the answer to your chocolate craving. Add a little sprinkle of sea salt and you have a healthy, easy-to-make treat!

Healthy Brownie Bites
These healthy brownie bites are a great balanced treat or snack. They have carbohydrates from the honey (and maybe a little from the cocoa powder), protein from the protein powder, and healthy unsaturated fats from the tahini. I have posts on carbohydrates, protein, and fat if you want to learn more about those macros!
I always like to mention using third party tested protein powder whenever a recipe calls for protein powder. Third party testing companies like NSF for Sport make sure what's on the label is in the product and in the specified amounts. Since supplements aren't regulated, we don't know what we're actually consuming if a product isn't third party tested!
Chocolate Sea Salt No Bake Brownie Bites
The chocolate sea salt combination is one of the best combos out there. The sweetness from these healthy brownie bites is complimented by crunchy sea salt, which results in a delicious treat. I recommend using sea salt as opposed to table salt because the bigger pieces add a nice texture!
Ingredient Highlights
- Chocolate protein powder - this is one of the main ingredients in this recipe. It adds flavor and protein! Note: the texture of these bites may differ depending on what type of protein you use. Tweak the tahini/honey amounts until your desired consistency is reached! I highly recommend using a third party tested protein powder so you can be sure you know what you're consuming (see "Healthy Brownie Bites" section for more on this).
- Tahini - tahini is a sesame seed butter, similar to peanut butter but made with sesame seeds! The taste is nutty but not overpowering, which makes it perfect for these no bake brownie bites. It's a good source of nutrients like copper and manganese (important for bone health) as well as B vitamins (which play a role in energy production). It's primarily a monounsaturated (healthy) fat too!
- Black cocoa powder - you can use regular unsweetened cocoa powder instead but I'm a huge fan of black cocoa! It's not as bitter as regular cocoa powder and gives recipes like these bites a dark chocolate color and flavor. It also contains fiber and iron!
Recipe FAQ
Absolutely! Store them in an air-tight container for up to 3 months in the freezer. They're super easy to pull out whenever you need a snack or sweet treat!
I recommend keeping these no bake brownie bites in an air-tight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
Definitely! You can use any nut or seed butter in lieu of tahini. Just note that different nut/seed butters may slightly alter the flavor.
